Berikut adalah contoh puisi yang saya buat dimana dalam bait tersebut mengandung conditional sentences :

If A When We Not Together Again
I want you to keep
every pulse beat
fast and pounding heartbeat
when my eyes rivet your eyes
interrupted by the patter drizzle sweeping veranda
when we first met in the dim twilight
In Silence, Without Voice
If A When We Not Together Again
I want us to put all that tender
here, at the point where we will turn
and save a smile behind their backs
then let time roll
until the horizon
with restrained longing chest tightness
In Silence, Without Tears
If A When We Not Together Again
I want to love it remained stored neatly
on rainbow array, the rain, the roar of the train,
the dew on the grass, on treetops
while picking the dreams that we have pinned there
then slowly held her
In silence, Without Light
